Order lids by the cup model, 12J16, rather than ounce capacity alone. Dart also makes other 12 oz cup formats with different lid requirements. For drink planning, use the 12 fl oz practical-fill figure; 12.9 fl oz is the flush-fill measurement, not a suggested serving level.
Plan one lid per covered drink. A 1,000-count lid case supplies one lid for every cup in this case. Keep lids and cups protected in their packaging until needed, and leave room for ice or additions when portioning beverages.
